It supports the point that a lot of people want to do this. We are inherently narrative. We are a narrative species, it comes with the package.

Margaret Atwood is currently writing and posting a collaborative novel on Wattpad, which is like AO3 for original fiction. In this audio clip, she talks about why people writing and posting their own stories on the internet is a part and parcel of what human beings do, and that it’s a good thing.
